About The Role
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in the finance team, focusing on financial reporting, general ledger reconciliation, and accounts payable management. How You’ll Make a Difference
Prepare accurate journal entries and supporting schedules in strict compliance with GAAP.
Conduct monthly bank and account reconciliations, ensuring alignment between general ledgers and sub-ledgers while maintaining detailed supporting documentation.
Oversee the daily operations of a high-volume accounts payable department, guaranteeing the accurate recording of invoices and timely vendor payments.
Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring compliance with organizational timelines and standards.
Collaborate in year-end external audits by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
Contribute to the design, implementation, and improvement of accounting systems, programs, and procedures as the organization evolves.
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
