In this role you’ll make an impact by:
· Assist in developing new beverage ideas and support the innovation process.
· Lead early-stage beverage innovation projects, including designing experiments and guiding lab staff.
· Help bring new products and projects to market.
· Communicate regularly with global teams and contribute to project research and development.
· Understand industry processes, identify opportunities, and help define customer value.
· Plan and execute tasks as directed by the head of technical service, and report results.
· Evaluate early innovation ideas and contribute solid technical insights to the project pipeline.
· Execute early-stage projects, deliver results, and collaborate closely with customers to support verification and commercialization.
· Stay updated on new industry technologies and introduce them to the team when needed.
· Work closely with global beverage teams to support regional and global capability development.
· Identify technical projects or new products that address industry challenges, in collaboration with account and marketing teams.
· Continuously improve professional skills and competencies.
· Supervise lab staff to ensure reliable experimental results.
· Ensure all work follows quality and safety guidelines.
To succeed you must hold:
· Education: Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: 3+ years in the brewing or beverage industry, with a focus on fermentation or brewing processes.
· Customer Focused: Strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering results.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose production issues and recommend effective solutions.
· Project Management: Experience leading technical projects from start to finish, including managing trials, testing, and process optimization.
· Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide clear guidance.
· Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (sales, R&D, production) and collaborating with internal and global teams.
· Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel frequently within Southeast Asia to meet with customers and support projects
· Potentially relevant experience: Experience with biosolutions like enzymes and experience in guiding and advising clients on technical solutions are highly preferred.
