Where are you going to work?
At Aviko, sustainability is very important to us. We are therefore busy with it every day, making great strides. We do this together, of course, but the driving force behind it is our Sustainability department.
During this internship, you will work within Aviko to roll out our agro sustainability strategy, under the guidance of our Sustainability Officer Agro. You will do this by carrying out one or more projects during your (graduation) internship. Based on your education and interests, we will discuss together which assignment suits you best.
You will be part of the Potato Expertise Centre of our agro department, which consists of agro sustainability, quality, agronomy, and business and market intelligence. The department's goal is to further develop expertise around potatoes and support both our growers and colleagues internally with it.
The team works for Aviko worldwide, and the location is our agro office in Dronten. At Aviko, there is an informal culture, and we value short lines of communication. This means that you will also be directly involved in ongoing and new projects. For example, you are involved in the sustainability of cultivation through our international Future Proof Farming program, or you could help us by analyzing and interpreting sustainability data, and assisting in projects on CO2 reduction in the supply chain.
We have an open culture: you can approach anyone. Do you share our passion for sustainability and would you like to do an internship at an internationally oriented company? Make sure you continue reading!
