IFF is seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Scent Business as Senior Account Manager, for one of our Top Global Customers in China.
How you will contribute
- Lead, inspire and guide the cross-category team in China
- Recommend and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships, understanding needs and provide solutions.
- Understand customer’s ecosystem including activities, strategies, brands, markets, consumers via different source.
- Monitor relevant industry in China and market movement to identify opportunities for sales growth and bring the insights to the sales leaders.
- Drive and lead projects and collaborate with cross functional team to ensure success of project implementations
- Prepare and present regular performance reports
- Recommend innovative solutions and improvements of processes in China
What you will need to be successful
- Approximately 5-7 years of experience preferably with a minimum 3 years commercial. Experience in Fragrance / Chemical / FMCG or related Industries
- Strong track record at a similar level with a passion to succeed in a commercial field
- Bachelor’s degree
- English and Mandarin language proficiency
- Global mindset and has the ability to work with different culture
- Ability to navigate and understand China digital marketing and ecommerce trends
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling and negotiation skills
- Strong interest in product development or project management
- Analytical with the ability to deal with financial concepts/processes (pricing/margin/forecasting)
- Preferably with fragrance knowledge
- Travel required (30-40% local travel, and 1 to 2x/year to Singapore)
