Your future position?
As a Commercial Controller, you will join the newly established Health and Functional BU, reporting directly to the Head of Controlling. You will help ensure the success of one of the main pillars of the Business Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to our growth by driving commercial insights, pricing strategy, financial planning, and supporting our strategic decisions.
Working with the Commercial and Finance teams, you will help monitor our performance, improve processes, and provide financial guidance that enhances profitability and efficiency. Your contributions will support our mission to create happier, healthier lives with love for nature.
Your main responsibilities:
Reporting
- Provide accurate, detailed financial reports, including OPEX, CAPEX, and FTE analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses on sales, pipeline, Product contribution margin, and other business metrics.
- Monitor pricing performance, rebate proposals, and sales data preparation for S&OP review meetings.
- Support AR reporting and payment terms case preparation.
- Collaborate on IP definitions and assist with internal and external audit preparations.
Pricing:
- Contribute to pricing strategy through bi-annual pricing campaigns, pricing quotation reviews, and new product pricing development.
- Oversee pricing DOA revisions and ensure compliance with established pricing policies.
- Collaborate with Global Pricing and Marketing teams to develop rebate contracts and commission definitions.
- Accountable for compliance to pricing policy and procedures
Business Partnering & Planning
- Play an active role in annual sales planning, OPEX/HC budget preparation, and S&OP review processes.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Global Product managers teams.
- Develop close partnerships across teams to lead collaboration and decision-making.
- Member of Sub-Bu leadership teams where applicable
Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or Accounting; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, pricing or accounting within an international or cross-cultural environment.
- Analytical and numerical skills with an ability to present data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with financial statements and key financial concepts.
- Experience with SAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with B2B markets, sales, and marketing practices.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
