Join us as our new Master Data Governance Manager
The Master Data Governance Manager is tasked with establishing and managing the Novonesis master data governance area and ensuring master data integrity. Key responsibilities include developing master data management strategies, establishing best practices for managing master data, and leading a team of technical data specialists. The role also involves supporting projects related to master data, implementing, and administering master data platforms and tools.
Welcome to the team:
Master data governance is a new capability we have decided to establish and the initial focus is to define strategies and best practices for the S/4 HANA program, especially considering the interim phase before the system's full global deployment and transition from legacy SAP ECC systems. Eventually, the role will expand to encompass additional master data elements across all enterprise IT systems within Novonesis.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
- Developing and implementing master data management strategies and best practices.
- Lead a team of technical data specialists.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to optimize data processes.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor data quality and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements in master data management.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data management processes and tools.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in master data management
Potentially relevant experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, information management, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in master data management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Experience in leading and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in data management or a related field is a plus.
Location: Hørsholm, Denmark
This position is pivotal in ensuring that Novonesis's data management strategies align with the company's goals, particularly during the transition to the new S/4 HANA system.
