We’re looking for a driven, resourceful, and entrepreneurial Operations Lead to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Set Up & Manage India Operations
- Lead the setup of India operations, including liaising with customs, managing shipments, sourcing warehouses, and clearing shipments.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and government departments.
- Be the go-to person for ensuring smooth operational processes on the ground.
🔹 International Manufacturing & Supplier Relations
- Identify and source raw materials and ingredients from the best local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships across global markets.
- Analyze sales performance and production needs, coordinating with co-manufacturers worldwide.
🔹 Logistics & Inventory Management
- Evaluate and onboard logistics partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with warehouses and maintain accurate inventory records.
🔹 Financial & Compliance Coordination
- Collaborate with accounting and compliance teams to manage bookkeeping, taxes, GST, payables, receivables, and payroll for India and USA operations.
🔹 On-the-Ground Support & Business Development
- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and customer meetings.
- Support the Business Development team in engaging with potential and existing customers.
- Be flexible to travel across India and occasionally internationally as needed.
Who You Are:- You have 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or similar roles or are a motivated fresh graduate, ready to hustle.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers, logistics partners, and government officials.
- Comfortable managing international supplier relationships and navigating cross-cultural interactions.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating the fast-paced world of startups.
- Willing to work flexible hours to coordinate with global teams, especially with teams based in the USA.
- Based in Mumbai and ready to travel locally and internationally when required.
