EHSQ (Environment, Health, Safety and Quality) and Food Safety
- Compliance to the EHSQ (Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality) management systems, and Food Safety Systems ensuring both regulatory compliance and best practice performance.
- To actively practice and promote EHSQ area, by ensuring being trained, safe practices are in place and are followed.
- Assist Shift Leaders / Supervisor / Production Manager to Implement and maintain the Danisco Malaysia General Safety Management Systems in production (WALK, First Party Audit,HIRA,LSR,EASI etc.) To ensure the hazards are identified and controlled, safe behavior practices are maintained, Incidents are reported and assist investigation and early intervention in injury management.
- To actively assist Shift Leaders / Supervisor / Production Manager to promote care for the Environment in the area, by ensuring being trained to understand the Environmental impact of our business, thus ensuring environmentally safe process and practices are followed.
- Compliance towards the Site Process Safety Management (PSM) program at area and ensure being trained properly and follow the PSM requirements.
Staff Management/Development
- Ensure inductions being completed by area Supervisor / Shift Leader.
- To ensure have a good understanding of the role in the business. Seek guidance if not aware.
- Completed the Personal and Professional Development plans that set at the start of each fiscal year and reviews as appropriate. Assist to ensure a clear and fair performance review and development via self-record keeping.
- To use Personal Performance Plans using any business-driven tool. Make time for scheduled reviews, to ensure standards are clearly set and performance feedback is given. Self-evaluation is a must before submission.
- Contribute toward production training and development plans to ensure a highly trained and flexible workforce.
- Assist the procedure, documentation update for production site.
- Self-explore the development via company’s learning tools / webinars. Actively seek guidance from Supervisor, Shift Leader or Production Manager as learning is self-responsibility.
Operating Costs
- Assist Supervisors / Shift Leaders manage DPC and Production related IPC Costs.
- Actively seeking opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve service levels.
- Actively assist Supervisors/Shift Leader/Production Manager to monitors and manage production rework stocks, ensuring quick disposal and minimizing cost impact on the company.
- Actively engage area team to identify and learn to lead the cost saving projects at area level.
Production
- Striving to support Key Performance Indexes (KPI) are monitoring and met the target within the specified time frame.
- Ensure self and peer to adhere and operated following written procedures, recipes, the principles of 5S, GMP and compliance to HACCP plans ensuring the quality of the product.
- Completing all production liquid raw material deliveries or performed pre-weighing of dry / wet raw materials to ensure requirements of the production plan, developed production team & Demand Team are met.
- Assist Supervisors / Shift Leaders / Production Manager to ensure the production schedules are achieved in the most efficient manner.
- Assist or deputies Supervisors / Shift Leaders regarding the production staff roster as required, to meet the production schedules, while balancing the other priorities of the business, ensuring the most efficient use of resources.
- Assist the production performance reporting is done in timely manner.
- Compliance to the site temporary operating instruction (TOI) program.
- Other task assigned by superior.
Projects
- Assist the site Management of Change (MOC) program by giving the idea as and when necessary.
- Actively contribute to the training and maintenance plans for all new equipment.
- Adhered to standard operating procedures that are available for all new equipment.
- Assist in post completion reviews of capital projects to find opportunities for continuous improvement in the investment project management process.
Administrative and Others
- Actively assist to Investigate complaints through to root cause.
- Followed the Production CAR (Corrective Action Reports).
- Support the halal certification for site and ensure upheld the site certification.
- Support and take part in the continuous improvement program in the work area
