Mission
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Finance & Ops Intern to support our CEO, Eden, and our Chief of Staff, Fanny. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects within a biotech startup that is shaping the future of infant nutrition. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a thirst for learning new things.
Finance & Operations:
Help categorize all expenses to provide a real-time view of our cash flow distribution and enhance budget forecasting accuracy
Assist in keeping our financial forecast up-to-date and as accurate as possible, ensuring key financial metrics remain exact
Master the use of Pennylane and support our team with day-to-day accounting operations
Non-dilutive funding & Market:
Provide an exhaustive evolving view on all relevant non-dilutive funding opportunities to support company growth (the more the better!)
Contribute to market research by gathering relevant information on key target markets and provide synthesized insights to support go-to-market strategies
People & Operations Support:
Assist with administrative tasks, office management, and the organization of internal processes, including handling office supplies, coordinating orders, and ensuring the office is fully equipped
Help coordinate the logistics of lab samples, ensuring timely and efficient handling, tracking, and organization of these samples
Support recruitment efforts by helping with candidate sourcing and conducting initial screening of candidates
Assist in coordinating internal and external company events, such as offsites, team-building activities, and networking events
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master’s from a top-tier business/engineering school or university, looking for an end-of-studies or gap-year school internship, with at least 6 months of internship experience, preferably in a startup environment
Fast learner: Strong ability to learn quickly, adapt and take initiatives with solution-oriented mindset
Organized: Skilled at managing multiple tasks efficiently while knowing how to prioritize and meet deadlines
Proactive: Take initiative and approach tasks with energy and enthusiasm, adapting quickly to changing circumstances
Team player: Strong desire to support the team and contribute to a positive, high-performing work environment
Excellent communication: Proficiency in English (written and spoken), comfortable interacting across teams and with external stakeholders
Passion for the mission: A genuine interest for Nūmi's mission to bring better nutrition for babies around the world
