As Junior Food Product Developer (m/f/x) at Nosh.bio you will be integrating your food passion into our product lineup. You will be working on the whole product lifecycle: from conception, formulation to completing the projects with market entry together with our cross-functional team. This role is initially limited as a parental leave cover, but with the option for extension.
Nosh.bio is a food tech startup based in Berlin Adlershof. Our vision is a world where food is not harmful anymore, neither for the planet, nor for the animals or the people. Our Mission is to develop a new class of ingredients and help the existing alternative products to finally appeal to the mass market.
The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on, likes to take ownership, and is excited to make an impact!
Those will be your responsibilities:
Support the product development process from idea to upscaling.
Developing new recipes and product formulation to expand the Nosh product portfolio.
Driving prototyping, shelf life studies, sensory evaluation, and consumer testing to validate product concepts.
Conduct and evaluate analysis to identify functional properties of our versatile raw materials.
Cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - R&D teams, business teams, customers and partners.
Recommend modifications to existing product formulas and/or processes to improve quality and/or product cost.
Travel within Europe to production sites for sensory analysis and production trials at customers.
Provide event support at expos, fairs, and conferences, including sample preparation, product demos, and engaging with stakeholders.
Constantly keeping up to speed with latest industry trends and developments related to Nosh.bio products and processes.
What can you expect from joining Nosh?
Contribute to the cutting edge of alternative protein research and push forward access to highly innovative tasty, healthy, and sustainable analog products.
Enjoy market compensation and flexible working hours in an agile, fun working environment.
A pet-friendly office in Berlin Adlershof and of course the option to work remote.
Knowledge is key - so all employees have access to Babbel.
Permanent employment with the possibility to work part-term for more flexibility.
The dynamic, mission-driven and international team at Nosh is moving at lightning speed and working hard. We know we can only do this with a strong, committed team and we have (a lot of) fun along the way. If you have a good sense of humour we are all for it!
