In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Be the country expert mastering key drivers for growth; Drive development of country across health areas/ portfolio, channels, regulatory and more, in close cooperation with local sales.
- Support sales with key customers and innovation meetings across the portfolio & contribute to development of customer concepts for local customers based on a strong understanding of the existing portfolio.
- Develop the local go-to-market 3–5 years strategy and tactics across health areas incl. channel and customer focus, portfolio customizations – in close collaboration with the local director of sales, B2B Commercial Execution and other relevant stakeholders.
- Define growth drivers by health area and channel for short/medium-term GTM plans
- Be the expert on the APAC market and Novonesis customers. Develop a view on the most important customers and products incl a status quo (risks/opportunities).
- Utilize financial dashboards for financial understanding of sales/margins and size of customer/ business.
- Support sustainable and profitable sales growth within APAC with a clear understanding and tracking of financials and range/mix development across health areas and customers.
- Master the regulation for APAC across categories, e.g. claims understanding of terminologies and requirements, product positioning - in order to identify key opportunities.
- Build market intelligence within APAC (from on-the-job learnings and cooperation with B2B Portfolio Expansion and the market intelligence manager) and continue to identify the pockets of growth for the country to develop and win new business.
- Lead and work closely with Sales team in identifying new opportunities within existing portfolio and engage in sales and customer activities such as ideation, concept brainstorming, science solutions as well as solution proposals.
- Sponsor the global portfolio guardrails in customer specific ideations around customizations (link to Sales & PD).
- Understand regional strain/product exclusivities given to customers (exclusivity tool).
To succeed you must hold:
- Master of Business Management or alternatively relevant scientific background (nutrition and health) with commercial experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B or B2C business development, product management, marketing, or similar roles.
- Experience with pharma or consumer healthcare customer interactions preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, while also comfortable and proficient in navigating a large organization and stakeholders.
- Experience with key markets in region preferred.
- Strong personal drive – ability to work independently, remote from direct manager and team.
- Team player enjoying solving issues by being the ‘spider in the web’
- Excellent strategic thinker, analytical and problem solver
- Solid understanding of the markets and the dynamics.
- Positive attitude and ability to influence the organization.
- Communications skills, presentation ability
- Ability to structure and plan in a dynamic environment.
- Strong IT skills, focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and spoken English.
