We've partnered with an innovative cultivated meat company, who are striving to provide sustainable, safe, and humane meat products to the world.
As they are now gearing up to launch their products in retail and restaurants across the US. We are looking to hire a Product Development & Culinary Manager, to lead their product manufacturing and execute small scale culinary activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring a first-of-its-kind, innovative product to market, and ideally we'd like this individual to have a passion for sustainable food solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute food manufacturing of cultivated meat products.
- Manage and execute culinary activations and tastings of products.
- Point of contact for all functional ingredients (fats, shelf life extenders, TG, dextrose, sodium alternatives, gums, gels); initial sourcing ingredients and creating relationships with ingredient suppliers.
- Support with scale up and commercialization projects: establish production process, nutritional labels.
- Scope and run all shelf life studies with the lab in partnership with QA.
- Identify market trends and consumer preferences to drive innovation.
- Ensure products meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in food science, culinary or product development.
- Experience in culinary preparations and ability to cater tasting events.
- Experience drafting and maintaining reports and trial plans.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing / CPG environment.
