We are looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to strengthen our team.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Design, edition and management of plant diagrams (Layouts)
- Design, edition and management of process diagrams (P&IDs)
- Review engineering delivered by workshops, e.g. detailed engineering of tanks and pressure vessels.
- To create and verify construction diagrams.
- Validate manufacturing processes in the workshop, with stainless steel and carbon steel, with an emphasis on hygienic industry.
- Develop 2D Project for different disciplines, such as, Instrumentation & Control, Processes, Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial, focused on sectors Food and beverage Industry.
- Excellent mastery of 3D modeling under AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Inventor software, providing the company with reliability and efficiency.
- The designs developed are for the food industry and hygienic design standards must be followed (pasteurizers, valve skids, warm-up skid, etc)
- Generation of bill of materials, with counts by diameter and isometric, by means of 3D Software for equipment manufacturing.
- Trace pipeline routes, isometric generation of mechanical assembly in the field freehand or through 3D design software.
- To management of contractors.
Your Profile / Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- English B1 or above.
- Excellent mastery and 3D modeling under AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3d, AutoCAD Inventor software.
- Valuable 4+ years of experience in 3D design.
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in industrial project designs, steam and condensate networks, skid tanks, and piping diagrams.
- Valuable knowledge of main engineering calculation and design tools.
- Valuable vessel simulation with Compress software.
- Tracking of mechanical manufacturing, dimensional checking and welding.
- Valuable have experience in personnel management (non-determining).
- Availability to travel within and outside the country, 30% of the time.
- To have a valid visa to enter EEUU is desirable.
