Responsibilities / Tasks
- Procurement & Vendor Management:
Oversee all direct and indirect suppliers, ensuring robust relationships that support business objectives.
Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Manage purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management:
Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory to meet business demands.
Implement best practices in inventory control to minimize waste and stock-outs.
Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient storage and dispatching of goods.
- Logistics & Distribution:
Plan and oversee transportation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Optimize freight costs and coordinate with logistics service providers.
Track shipments and resolve any logistical issues that arise.
- Demand & Supply Planning:
Work closely with sales, service and engineering teams to forecast demand and align supply plans.
Ensure accurate and timely replenishment of stock.
Identify risks in supply chain operations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
Analyze supply chain operations and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Holds a diploma / degree / equivalent with at 1-2 years of experience in a administrative function.
Proficiency in SAP and inventory management software (strong computer skills and are familiar with Excel spreadsheets to perform data analysis.)
Ability to work as a team
Good communication and interaction skills.
