The Facilities Supervisor will oversee and coordinate tasks with external service providers involved in general services, including pest control, fleet management, cleaning, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), and waste management. This role also involves close collaboration with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager to design, implement, and continuously improve an effective EH&S management system, while providing support during internal and external audits.
Job Description
The role involves managing, coordinating, and implementing projects on-site, as well as overseeing the maintenance department's daily activities to support operational requirements. The position requires administering and controlling external service providers and companies that interact with multiple departments across the site. Additionally, the role acts as a key point of contact to address basic maintenance issues, as well as quality and hygiene concerns within processing areas and administrative buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and coordinate activities related to the implementation of security procedures.
- Conduct daily inspections as part of the security shift to identify and address any deviations or issues related to access control.
- Manage and oversee external service providers in their daily operations.
- Support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) department by coordinating and delivering training sessions on security and service-related requirements.
- Ensure familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 to maintain and guarantee product quality.
- Apply knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to promote compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Advanced level of English (Intermediate proficiency required).
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
