Why this job exists
Data is at the heart of everything we do at La Vie. The data analyst will play a key role in empowering our teams with actionable insights, helping us optimize performance across business units. This role requires strong autonomy, a business-centric mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations. We already have a sophisticated setup in place that you will have to maintain and grow.
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong analytical, project management, and light engineering skills to drive data initiatives, optimize reporting, and lead data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards for clear, actionable insights.
- Analyze and model data to support key business decisions (forecasting, performance tracking, optimization).
- Automate and optimize data flows to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Lead data projects: manage forecasting models, oversee the data stack, and coordinate with data engineers.
- Bridge the gap between data and business by translating business needs into actionable insights.
- SQL (advanced) – data transformation and structuring.
- Python (pandas, NumPy) – data manipulation and analysis.
- BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
- Data pipeline management: dbt, Airflow, or similar.
- Experience managing data projects and collaborating with engineers.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills.
- Fluent in French and English (La Vie’s internal language).
You will have a first video call with HR and a second interview with our CEO Nicolas, followed by a business case!
